Adelaide d'Orleans - 1826. Evergreen climbing rose with powder pink clusters of small shapely flowers. Scented. 15ft by 10ft.

Aimee Vibert - c1828. Repeat flowering, thornless climber. Very fragrant white flowers pink in bud held in clusters. 12ft by 10ft.

Blush Noisette – 18th Century. An attractive Noisette of gentle growth. Blush pink, very long flowering season. A tall shrub or shorter climber. 7ft by 4ft.

Blairii No. 2 - 1845. Large flattish blooms pale pink with deeper shadings towards centre. Very good gerown on tripod or trellis. Repeat flowering, very fragrant. 12ft by 6ft.

Cecil Brunner - 1904. The climbing form of the "Sweetheart Rose". Sweetly scented and repeat flowering. Very vigorous.

Etoile de Hollande – The climbing form of a 1919 bush. Highly scented rich velvet crimson fully double blooms. 12ft by 8ft.

Ghislaine de Feligonde - Healthy thornless rose. Flowers repeatedly. Creamy apricot. Scented. 8ft by 8ft.

Jasmina - Abundant fully double flowers of soft violet pink held in clusters. Sweet fragrance. 7ft

Kathleen Harrop - 1919. Sport of Zepherine Drouhin. Thornless and weather tolerant. Flowers from mid-June until well into winter. Flowers shell pink semi-double and fragrant. 10ft by 6ft.

Lady Hillingdon - 1910. An outstanding climbing tea rose. Long pointed buds are rich yellow which open to large blowsy semi-double flowers with a lovely perfume. Leaves glossy dark purplish green, plum coloured relatively thornless shoots. Good for cutting. 15ft by 8ft.

Laguna - 2004. Full double flowers of deep pink held in clusters. Rich fruity fragrance. Blooms recurrently. 7ft.

Lamarque - 1830. Very beautiful and richly fragrant flat and quartered flowers of palest lemon to white. Needs warmth and shelter. Repeat flowering. 12ft by 8ft.

Leverkusen - 1954. Sweetly scented lemon yellow flowers borne continuously all summer. 10ft by 8ft.

Ley's Perpetual - 1867. Climbing form of Tea Rose. Flowers flat and quartered, lemon yellow, deliciously fragrant. Good foliage - will grow in a container. 12ft by 8ft.

Mermaid - 1917. A most beautiful and useful climber. Will tolerate shade, even a North wall. Huge single pale lemon flowers with amber stamens. Do not prune except to remove old wood. 30ft.

Mme Alfred Carriere – 1879. Clusters of blush white very fragrant double flowers. Vigorous and good on a North wall. Smooth thornless stems. 12ft by 10ft.

Mme. Gregoire Staechelin – 1927 Large pale pink blooms with deeper veining. Very vigorous. Delicious fragrance. Large hips in Autumn. Hybrid Tea type. Summer flowering. 15ft by 12ft.

New Dawn – 1930. A repeat flowering sport of the rambler Dr. Van Fleet. Silvery pink full blooms singly and in clusters. Heavily scented. Healthy glossy foliage. Recurrent flowering. 10ft by 8ft.

Park's Yellow Tea Scented China - - 1824. Bears loosely double straw-yellow tea scent flowers. Good short climber with pointed leaves. Repeat flowering. 6ft by 4ft.

Sympathy - 1964. Velvety dark red flowers which are weather resistant. Suitable for pergolas, bowers ands walls. Scented. 12ft.

William Allen Richardson – 1878. Good in a pot and for cut flowers. This China rose has pale apricot fully double flowers and dark stems and foliage. Very scented. Needs a sheltered sunny wall. 15ft by 8ft.

Zepherine Drouhin – 1868. Thornless cerise pink, loosely double flowers. A famously fragrant climber which can be grown as a shrub with some support. 9ft by 6ft.
